Impact Windows & Doors

Hurricane impact windows, sliding glass doors and entry doors installed with permits and NOA documentation.

Modern Miami home with large impact-rated glass windows

Impact glass is the single upgrade that changes how a South Florida home feels: quieter, cooler, more secure, and no shutters to put up. Because we are a licensed general contractor, we also handle the stucco, drywall and paint around the openings that window-only companies leave for you.

What is included

  • Impact windows: single hung, horizontal roller, casement, fixed and picture
  • Sliding glass doors, French doors and entry doors
  • Products from PGT, CGI, ES Windows and other NOA-approved manufacturers
  • Permits, inspections and product approval paperwork
  • Stucco, drywall and paint repair around new openings
  • Enlarging or adding openings with proper headers

Why it matters in South Florida

Impact windows and doors earn the opening-protection credit on your wind mitigation form, which is often the largest single discount available. Projects may also qualify for the My Safe Florida Home grant when the program is funded.

How it works

  1. 01

    Measure

Every opening measured, product approvals matched to your wind zone.

  2. 02

    Install

Old units out, new units set and anchored per the NOA, inspected.

  3. 03

    Finish

Stucco, drywall, paint and caulk so it looks like it was always there.

Questions we hear about impact windows

How much will impact windows save on insurance?

It varies by carrier, but opening protection is typically the largest wind mitigation credit. All openings, including garage doors, must be protected to qualify.

Do I still need shutters?

No. Impact-rated glass meets the code requirement on its own.

How long does installation take?

Most homes are done in two to five days after the product arrives. Lead times for product run six to twelve weeks.
