Shingle and flat roof replacement in Lauderhill
Full re-roof of a single-story Lauderhill home: the aged, algae-streaked shingle roof and the flat section over the rear were torn off to the deck and replaced in one job, photographed by drone before, during and after.
Built for Lillie, Lauderhill

The drone survey told the story before anyone climbed a ladder: heavy algae streaking across the shingle slopes, granules worn through on the sun side, and a flat section over the rear of the house that had been patched more than once. For a 1960s Lauderhill home this is the normal end of a roof's life, and the homeowner wanted one contractor to handle both roof types together.
Tear-off went down to the plywood. The crew checked every sheet of decking, replaced what was soft, then dried the whole roof in the same day so the house was never open overnight. The pitched slopes got a new architectural shingle system fastened to the Florida Building Code wind requirements for Broward County; the rear flat section got a new low-slope roof system that ties into the shingles at the transition, which is where the old roof had been leaking.
The finished photos were taken at dusk on the last day, as the crew was packing up. The homeowner gets the permit paperwork, the final inspection and a roof that carries both a workmanship warranty and the manufacturer's warranty.
