Red standing seam metal roof in Sunrise
Full re-roof of a single-story Sunrise home with a pool: old roof off, Polyglass self-adhered underlayment dried in, then a terracotta-red standing seam metal roof with concealed fasteners, photographed from the roof and by drone.
Built for Rosa, Sunrise

The homeowner wanted a roof that would outlast the next few hurricane seasons and lift the look of a 1970s ranch house at the same time. Standing seam metal does both: no exposed fasteners to back out in the wind, a Kynar-finished panel that reflects heat, and a color that reads from the street.
After tear-off the deck was covered edge to edge with Polyglass self-adhered underlayment, which is the layer that actually keeps the house dry. The panels were then cut to the exact run length so there are no horizontal seams on the roof, clipped to the deck at the spacing the wind zone requires, and finished with matching ridge, eave and gable trim.
The drone photos at the end show the finished roof over the pool and screen enclosure. The homeowner receives the permit paperwork, the final county inspection and the wind mitigation report that earns the roof-covering credit on the insurance policy.
